GTA 6 map vs island view on Vice City Studio
When to use /map, /island, and /map2 — and how /companion fits as the marketing door rather than a second atlas.

Three boards, one product idea
/map is the wider Leonida interactive set these district guides are written from. /island is the gold studio board with the shaped ATLAS look and spoiler-masked cards. /map2 is a related interactive board in the same family.
/companion is the marketing and early-access page — Scout and Pro language, waitlist energy — not a hidden atlas with different truth. If a link sends you to companion first, continue into /map or /island when you want to pan.
Which one should you open?
Learning counties, Keys, and gulf cities: start on /map. Showing the marketing silhouette or placing an Assets prop pin: use /island. Comparing UI variants: try /map2. Reading the pitch: /companion.
Found marks and filters follow the companion idea across boards, but island placement for GLB props is an island-map theater feature — a pin with a 3D popup, not a mesh sitting in Rockstar’s terrain.

Shared honesty across views
Every board is fan-made. Pins are real Florida references under fan district names. None of them replaces Rockstar’s in-game pause map after November 19, 2026.
Wallpapers, Creator Studio, and Assets are separate tools. Do not expect the island board to export a YouTube thumbnail or a phone wallpaper crop — those have their own pages.
Questions
- Is /island the “real” map?
- It is the cinematic studio board. /map is the wider Leonida set used for most district writing. Both are real product surfaces.
- What is /companion?
- The marketing page for the map companion product. Use it to understand access; use /map or /island to pan and mark.
- Where do Assets props appear?
- On the island map as pins with a 3D popup in this browser — not as in-game objects and not on the wider Leonida board as meshes.
