Mark as found on the GTA 6 companion map
How found-state works on Vice City Studio: pin popups, district meters, local progress, and why marks are not an official completion percentage.

The toggle that matters
Open a pin on /map or /island and mark it found when you are ready. That is the companion’s progress model: you choose the pace. There is no public leaderboard of cleared landmarks.
Found IDs persist in the browser on your device. Optional signed-in sync exists for people who want the same list across phones and desktops. Clearing site data removes local marks unless you synced.
How meters and routes use found-state
The region meter shows found/total and a percent for the active district. That percent means “of the companion set in this zone,” not “of Rockstar’s official list.” There is no official list published for these fan pins.
Closest-path prefers remaining (not-found) visible pins. Marking aggressively in one filtered district makes routes short and useful. Marking nothing leaves the planner staring at a large remainder.

Honest limits
Marking a real Florida hotel as found does not mean you collected an in-game item. Pins are geographic reference. After November 19, 2026, keep using the same toggle for whatever you choose to track on this board — and ignore pages that invent statue lists.
Spoiler-masked hints on the island are separate from found-state. You can mark a place without revealing a blurred solution card, and you can reveal a card without pretending the pin is official loot.
Questions
- Where do I mark a place found?
- From the pin popup on the interactive map. Progress saves on your device.
- Does found percent equal game completion?
- No. It is a percent of the companion’s plotted set for that district, not Rockstar’s official completion.
- Can I unmark a place?
- Yes. Toggle found off from the pin popup if you marked early or want it back on a route.
