Use the GTA 6 companion map on your phone
How to pan, filter, and mark finds on the Vice City Studio map from a phone browser without needing the game installed.

Open it like a web app
On a phone, open /map in your browser. The board is touch-friendly: pinch to zoom, drag to pan, tap a pin for the popup. You do not need Grand Theft Auto VI installed to study the geography or keep found marks.
If the gold silhouette is easier to read, try /island. For the product pitch and access language, /companion explains Scout and Pro without being the interactive atlas itself.
Phone-friendly habits
Isolate one district before you try closest-path. A route across every remaining pin on the wide Leonida set is noisy on a small screen. The region meter’s found count is easier to read when only one zone is active.
Search is faster than hunting when you already know a landmark name from a district guide. Mark as found from the pin popup; progress stays on the device. Spoiler-masked cards on the island stay blurred until you tap Reveal.

What not to do on a phone
Do not treat a district guide as a completion checklist while walking around. The names are real Florida references on a fan map. Do not paste a full pin dump into a group chat if friends still want to explore.
Save wallpapers and thumbnails for /wallpapers and /creator-studio. Forcing a map screenshot to do lock-screen duty usually crops the labels badly — use the mobile wallpaper crop instead.
Questions
- Is there a native iOS or Android app?
- The companion is a web product. Open /map in the mobile browser. Progress is stored locally in that browser unless you use optional signed-in sync.
- Does closest-path need GPS?
- It can use your location when available. If geolocation fails or you are outside the board clip, it falls back to the map center and still builds a short path across remaining visible pins.
- Will this drain data?
- Map tiles and pin data load like any map site. Offline play of GTA 6 is unrelated — this is a browser companion.
